These Terms of Service govern your use of the SponsorSpy website and related services. By registering an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SponsorSpy, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
2. Service Description and AI Limitations
SponsorSpy provides tools for analyzing YouTube videos to detect sponsor integrations using Artificial Intelligence.
Disclaimer regarding AI: The analysis is performed by automated AI models. While we strive for accuracy, AI can produce errors, including false positives (flagging non-sponsored content) and false negatives (missed integrations). SponsorSpy is provided 'AS IS'. We are not responsible for any business, financial, or legal decisions you make based on our analysis.
3. Account Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Billing, Credits, and Refunds
- Merchant of Record: Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, handles customer service inquiries related to payments, and issues invoices.
- Credits System: Video analysis consumes credits based on video length. Unused credits purchased via one-time packs do not expire as long as your account is active.
- Subscriptions: Subscription plans provide a monthly video quota. Unused monthly quota does not roll over to the next billing cycle.
- Refund Policy: Due to the computational costs of AI analysis, all sales of credit packs and subscriptions are final. We do not offer refunds for unused credits or partial subscription periods, except where required by law.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Automate, scrape, or programmatically extract data from our platform outside of our official API (if provided).
- Bypass or attempt to circumvent credit billing mechanisms or access controls.
- Analyze content that promotes illegal acts, extreme violence, or child exploitation.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SponsorSpy and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use or inability to use the service.
